Salary: £24,790 to £25,183 per annum.
Working Pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week.
Contract Length: Fixed-term/Secondment until 23/05/2025, due to time specific funding.
Location: Bognor Regis Fire Station, with a typical week combining attendance at the office and home working as led by the needs of the service.
Role Overview: As a Logistics and Events Support Worker, you will support the wider service by ensuring they are supplied with any resources necessary for events.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the management team in the administration and organisation of events and courses, including attending events and assisting in setting up and dismantling equipment.
2. Ensure the stock of all resources and materials is up-to-date and sufficient to meet service needs.
3. Check and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in order and available for use.
4. Drive according to policy and procedure to deliver resources to specific locations as directed by the Fire and Road Safety Manager or other Prevention Managers.
This is a physically active role requiring regular lifting and carrying of heavy resources and equipment.

* Ability to organise, prioritise, and plan own workload to meet deadlines and targets.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues independently.
* Ability to drive safely and considerately in accordance with Highway Code regulations.
* Experience in organising/coordinating events and providing administrative support.
* Excellent working knowledge of IT, especially the Microsoft Office suite.
* Full valid UK driving licence with confidence and ability to drive a transit van.
