Hours/weeks: 30 hours per week Mon to Fri; 39 weeks per year (Term-Time only plus TD Days). There is some flexibility around start and finish times, to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
The Role
The Corsham School Academy Group is seeking to appoint an organised, efficient, and proactive Finance Assistant to join our busy and friendly finance team supporting the smooth running of the school’s finance office.
In this varied position, you will be assisting with the day-to-day functions of the finance department and interacting with a wide range of school staff. You will also be supporting the Finance Manager with some function of their role.
It is important that you have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
You will also have:
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
* Excellent ICT skills including Microsoft office packages, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* An eye for detail and accuracy.
* Good organisational skills to be able to prioritise work, meet deadlines, be able to work independently or as part of a team and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
