Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Part-Qualified Private Client Tax Associate to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an impressive portfolio of private clients, providing tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts.
You will be working closely with an experienced team of tax professionals and gaining exposure to complex tax matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As an Associate, your responsibilities will include among others
* Assist in the preparation of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
* Provide tax compliance and advisory support to clients on a range of matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation.
* Conduct research on complex tax issues and assist in preparing bespoke tax planning strategies.
* Liaise directly with clients, building strong working relationships while ensuring the highest level of service.
* Support senior team members in the management of client portfolios and the execution of tax planning projects.
* Contribute to the efficient delivery of tax services, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Develop your technical tax knowledge and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of private client tax matters.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Part-qualified ACA, ATT, or equivalent qualification by experience.
* Previous experience in private client tax, ideally within a similar firm or practice. Trust and or partnership tax and accounting experience would be particularly useful.
* A solid understanding of UK personal tax legislation, including trusts, estates, and inheritance tax.
* Strong attention to detail, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
