Description:
The role of a Bookkeeper is to provide an excellent service for clients, creating and maintaining strong relationships. This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and a positive and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build strong lasting relationships with a large variety of clients
2. Implementing Xero and ‘app-stacks’ for clients
3. Completion of accurate and timely management information
4. Assisting in the production of monthly accounts and reports
5. Reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts
6. Preparation and posting journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, etc.
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payments
9. Accounts payable with expenses and credit cards
10. Accounts receivable and credit control
11. Making our clients’ lives easier and helping their businesses thrive
Key Requirements:
1. AAT Level 2 or above qualified or "Qualified by experience"
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Additional Requirements:
1. Love and knowledge of technology - Excel and accountancy apps
2. Excellent attention to detail
3. Xero/Sage experience desirable
4. A desire to learn and develop
