About the Job
At Agrocrop, we solve Private Label problems. We are a talented and growing team who is launching a
new operation focused on selling RTE packaged goods across the US & Canada. We are looking for a
seasoned machine operator who sets up and operates a packaging machine in accordance with
established procedures and guidelines. Fills, secures, and labels containers according to the
specifications. Verifies goods packaged against package invoices. Reads and interprets diagrams to
select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according
to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Documents inventory number and weight and organizes
packages. May make minor repairs to packaging equipment as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the quality and safety of our product. Secures the mechanical deployment and
sealing of the finished product to the prescribed packaging material, at the appropriate weight
within the production schedule.
2. Accountable for product verification, fill weight control, product loss control, packaging
efficiency, package quality and identification, finished product quality, and finished
product/package quantity.
3. After each production run, perform sanitation duties to prepare for the next production run.
4. Communicate clear expectations for work outcomes to team members.
5. Escalate any concerns about performance to the shift supervisor/production manager.
6. Responsible for supporting a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.
7. Ensures that Safety, Production and Accuracy standards are met.
8. Complies with GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards.
9. Proposes improvements to the processes or machines involved.
10. Reports safety hazards within the work environment.
11. Keeps all equipment on production lines clean, sanitary & organized.
12. Coordinates Waste activities including organized collection and removal of materials.
Working Conditions
In a plant environment that entails physically demanding and sometimes dangerous exposure to
hazardous materials. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and to lift and move heavy
objects. Willing to perform repetitive tasks.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Completed apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty preferred.
* Strong knowledge of packaging equipment, processing, and hands-on experience with troubleshooting.
* 1 – 3 years proven hands-on experience within the food industry or high-speed packaging plant.
* Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 55 lbs.
* Dependable and accountable.
* Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly.
* Ability to work collaboratively as a team.
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail, fast learner, and quick thinker.
* Aptitude for math, computers, and mechanics required.
