The Role
:
As a Finance Assistant, you will managing daily transactional finance activities and supporting the finance manager with various projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate with clients to follow up on overdue invoices.
2. Resolve client invoice queries in collaboration with internal teams.
3. Reconcile payments across bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash using Xero Accounting Software.
4. Create sales invoices and credit notes with Xero and IRIS.
5. Post supplier invoices and organise payments.
6. Deposit cheques and process card payments.
7. Record expenses.
8. Establish and manage direct debit mandates.
9. Supply financial information to colleagues.
10. Handle client money in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
11. Previously worked as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
12. Possess relevant experience and qualifications.
13. Skilled with Xero Accounting Software.
14. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
15. Ability to reconcile payments and manage various financial transactions.
16. Knowledge of regulations related to handling client money.
