About the Role: As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, your role is key to the repair process. You will be responsible for:
13. Conducting detailed assessments of vehicle damage and providing precise repair estimates.
14. Liaising with customers, insurance companies, and internal teams for smooth communication and timely repair processes.
15. Applying your technical expertise to determine repair needs and create comprehensive repair plans.
16. Delivering excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with clients.
17. Keeping meticulous records of assessments, estimates, and repair progress.
18. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
About You: To be successful in this role, you should have:
19. Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or similar role in a bodyshop or automotive repair business.
20. Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, with familiarity across various makes and models.
21. Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and colleagues.
22. Proficiency in using software and tools relevant to damage assessment and estimating.
23. A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and thorough assessments.
24. Relevant qualifications or certifications (., ATA VDA accreditation) are a plus.
