Head of Brand and Marketing

The Organisation/Role:
Our client are a rapidly growing FinTech business that is re-defining how individuals and families connect and engage with their money. They are backed by some of Europe’s leading investors. Our client provide their users with control over their personal finances, enhancing their ability to achieve their financial and life aspirations. They are building a distinctive and purposeful brand which is transforming the personal financial services industry. They are not asset or wealth managers; they have no products to sell. They provide pure advice.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Strategy
* Define and implement a data-driven, cross-channel marketing strategy to further establish our client as a leading, exclusive brand within the wealth management space.
Digital Marketing
* Create and oversee a differentiated and integrated digital marketing strategy across different audience segments, meeting people where they are with excellent content via social, search, SEO, PPC and OOH advertising campaigns.
Budgeting
* Be responsible for handling our marketing budget across different channels and with specialist external providers, analysing and optimising ROI to ensure we are achieving best value from our marketing strategies.
Performance monitoring
* Track and present metrics, including ROI and performance against set KPIs, in an intuitive and insightful way to senior stakeholders. Justify strategic decisions and optimisations with data.
Member get member
* Lead creative and strategic marketing initiatives alongside our sales team to develop our member-get-member programme for their community through brand activations, partnerships, digital optimisation, social and events.
Management of agencies
* Manage, nurture and leverage external relationships to create exciting PR opportunities, next-level creative, captivating content (video, copy, podcasts, events) and highly effective digital campaigns.
Team leadership
* Lead, mentor and empower a high-performance Brand and Marketing team, fostering a culture of growth, efficiency and wellbeing.
Experience required:
* 10+ years’ experience in a senior marketing management role, ideally targeting HNW/UHNW individuals. At least 5 of those years must be in a leadership role.
* Experience across a broad range of marketing channels including digital, advertising, social media, events and building member-get-member communities. We expect you to specialise in some of these areas but not all.
* Demonstrable commercial success in developing and executing highly targeted marketing strategies that effectively engage and resonate with a luxury audience, driving member introductions and community growth.
* Strong understanding of brand development, positioning, and messaging, balancing exclusivity with purpose-driven messaging and community building.
* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and delivering exceptional results.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
* Experience managing an annual marketing budget of >£1m.
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
* Marketing all-rounder: creative thinker, design inspired, strong communicator both verbally and written, exceptional listening skills, exceptional collaboration skills, adaptable and flexible whilst holding a strong vision and being able to influence decision making efficiently.
* Excellent presentation skills across Google, Microsoft and Apple software.
* Strong technical experience across the performance marketing landscape including CRM, CMS, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta and data visualisation tools.
* Excellent written English across a range of styles.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of UK print and broadcast media. Relationships with senior journalists is preferrable.
* Comfortable with financial concepts and structures, and eager to learn more about our unique product and service, including our investment strategy.
* Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across a range of stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Strong eye for detail.
