In this role, you will act as the primary liaison for various stakeholders, including Police Scotland's local Area Control Room and other Council departments, to aid in detecting and preventing crime and anti-social behaviour within the community. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing after-hours security monitoring of Council properties and related issues. Your responsibilities will encompass scheduling, allocating, and supervising the work of the CCTV Control Centre and other support staff. You will also oversee the security, operation, and control of CCTV equipment within the Control Centre and ensure the maintenance of all records in accordance with Operational Procedures. Demonstrating strong organisational and prioritisation skills, you must be adaptable to changing priorities to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service. Effective communication and proficient IT skills are essential. Furthermore, you will perform tasks such as being the initial point of contact for fault reporting from internal departments with CCTV systems, assessing and addressing issues, and conducting annual maintenance visits to council properties with CCTV installations, ensuring system functionality and GDPR compliance.
