We are seeking two dedicated SEN Teachers for full-time temporary positions in Hillingdon, with the potential for these roles to become permanent. These positions are available immediately, one for Year 7 and one for Year 8, focusing on providing nurturing support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As an SEN Teacher in this nurture role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored educational support to students in either Year 7 or Year 8. The SEN Teacher will play a crucial role in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that meets the individual needs of students requiring additional emotional and behavioural support. Key Responsibilities: As an SEN Teacher, plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the specific needs of students in Year 7 or Year 8. Develop and implement strategies as an SEN Teacher to support students' social, emotional, and academic development. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting your teaching approach as necessary to meet their needs. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents in Hillingdon to create a comprehensive support system for each student. Contribute to the development of a nurturing curriculum that promotes student well-being and academic success as an SEN Teacher.Qualifications & Experience: Required: SEN Teacher with experience in SEMH. Preferred: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification. Location: Must be able to work in Hillingdon. Previous experience working as an SEN Teacher in a nurture group or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of the challenges and needs of students requiring additional social and emotional support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents in Hillingdon.
