The Project Manager will be accountable for the planning and execution of our Environmental Consultancy projects to the defined scope, cost, and programme to meet our Client’s requirements. Our current portfolio includes projects of varying scale and complexity across the Infrastructure, Natural Capital, Water, Energy, and Commercial Sectors, both nationally and internationally. The role will enable the candidate to work as part of a team with huge ambition to continue their sustained growth and deliver more for our existing clients, whilst developing and working together to bring cutting-edge solutions and industry best practice to our clients. About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
1. Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects in terms of scope.
2. Manage technical teams’ time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
3. Depending on experience, manage consultancy projects varying in size and complexity.
4. Effectively manage project change and identify opportunities.
5. Coordinate and manage multi-discipline and cross-sector projects.
6. Drive innovation and efficiencies into project delivery.
7. Ensure H&S is at the heart of all projects.
8. Understand what the client wants and deliver accordingly.
9. Work with our proposals teams to ensure smooth transition from project tender to delivery.
10. Assess the technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process.
11. Create and review proposals and costings for new projects.
Qualifications/Requirements
The role is suitable for an experienced professional. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and knowledge:
1. Degree in an Environment related field.
2. Passion to deliver sustainability to clients and projects.
3. Ambition for a project management role covering environmental projects.
4. Ability to work under time pressure and balance multiple priorities.
5. Excellent communicator with staff, clients, and partners.
6. Understanding of consultancy commercial models for both project delivery and tender development.
7. Collaborative individual that effectively builds teams.
8. Be driven to develop and improve technical skills and advance career.
