Job Summary
Working closely with the Senior Programme Producer and other Programme Producers, the Programme Producer will lead on producing projects, maintaining relationships with artists and oversee the running of projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Creative/Managerial:
* Produce Marlborough Productions projects, coordinating schedules and logistics.
* Contribute to the curation, programming, and planning of projects and events.
* Ensure smooth project operations, supporting artists and informing colleagues.
* Work with artists to develop projects, including recruiting collaborators, advising on fundraising, organising sharings, and managing schedules.
* Provide feedback to the Joint Creative Directors and Executive Director.
* Build and maintain supportive relationships with artists and collaborators.
* Coordinate staff contracts, ensuring compliance with ITC/Equity agreements.
* Assist in evaluating projects and contribute to internal communications.
* Develop knowledge of live performance networks.
Access and Inclusion:
* Collaborate with the team to improve access for artists, companies, and audiences.
* Lead on access, ensuring hospitality and access needs are met.
Financial:
* Provide financial updates to ensure accurate budgeting.
* Submit receipts and expense claims in a timely manner.
Operational:
* Oversee day-to-day project activity.
* Organise meetings with artists, partners, and community groups.
* Arrange creative workshops in community settings, liaising with local artists and producers.
* Maintain an updated inventory of company equipment and assets.
Communications:
* Contribute to web, marketing, PR, and documentation in line with the comms strategy.
* Ensure project webpages are up to date on the website.
* Send email communications to members and stakeholders.
* Represent the company at events and meetings.
* Contribute to the archive and collect monitoring data, adhering to GDPR.
Development:
* Support the Executive Director and General Manager with fundraising bids and reports.
* Assist in delivering longer-term ambitions, including New Queers on the Block (NQOTB).
