Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer required to join a leading electromechanical engineering provider.
The Successful Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer will provide electrical repair, service, and maintenance on industrial electrical systems such as marine vessels, boats, generators, control sensors, control panels, battery power sources, AC/DC circuits, and other industrial electrical related products and systems.
The Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer will have a service background in electrical and or marine engineering such as marine vessels, ships, generators, power distribution systems, navigation systems, control panels, AC/DC circuits, and or similar electrical engineering products / systems.

Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer Role
* To provide electrical repair, service, and maintenance on industrial electrical systems such as marine vessels, boats, generators, control sensors, control panels, battery power sources, AC/DC circuits, and other industrial electrical related products and systems.
* Will ensure compliance with the 18th edition wiring regulations for all electrical work completed
* Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work.
* Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs industrial electrical engineering systems / equipment such as marine vessels, AC/DC circuits, generators
* Liaise with various engineering departments.
Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer Requirements
* Proven diagnostic skills on complicated industrial electrical engineering systems.
* Experience as a Marine Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Marine Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer or similar.
* Experience working on industrial electrical engineering systems such as marine vessels, ships, generators, power distribution systems, navigation systems, control panels, AC/DC circuits, and or similar electrical engineering products / systems.
* Will be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
* Offshore experience is desired but by no means essential
* A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
* Must be commutable to Aberdeen Harbour
