As an Integrated Shift Engineer, you will:
* Deliver a safe, proactive, and professional electrical/mechanical service across the site, primarily in manufacturing.
* Provide diagnostic skills, initiate improvements, and undertake preventative maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable production.
Responsibilities include:
* Participate in developing the TPM process, including defining and standardising Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP).
* Contribute to equipment reliability plans to reduce failures and minimise their effects.
* Lead in RCA methodologies such as 8D, 7-Step Problem Solving, EWOs, 5Why, and 5G.
* Support cost deployment and Capex projects to improve production assets.
* Complete timely and accurate reporting, including shift reports and updating InfoHub boards.
* Communicate effectively using platforms like Microsoft Teams and develop strong working relationships.
* Maintain first-line response to plant breakdowns to a world-class standard.
Qualifications and skills:
* NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
* Electrical and Mechanical work experience.
* PLC knowledge, preferably Siemens S7.
* Strong mechanical systems knowledge.
* Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Portable Appliance Testing skills (advantageous).
* Ability to diagnose root causes and implement solutions.
* High commitment to health and safety.
* Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
