Supply Teacher South Gloucestershire Flexible Working This school in the South Gloucestershire area is looking for a Flexible Working Supply Teacher to join their team. The Role The ideal supply teacher temporarily fills in for a regular classroom teacher who is absent due to illness, training, or other reasons. Your primary role is to maintain continuity in students’ learning by following the lesson plans left by the regular teacher, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. You must be adaptable, able to quickly establish rapport with students, and often work across various schools and grade levels. You will be expected to: Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups. Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their work. Report on student progress and any issues to senior staff. Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times. Be punctual, professional, and reliable at all times.
