Facilities Controller
Rate of Pay: £11.94 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week as a job share or full-time (48 hours per week)
We are looking for a Facilities Controller to assist in the Control Room in the day-to-day facilities management of the Centre. Key duties will include being responsible for monitoring security systems, CCTV, access control, the building management system, and the carpark.
The successful candidate will have good customer service skills, knowledge of basic building services systems (e.g. fire alarms, heating, ventilation, and security systems), an awareness of security procedures and be capable of being the first line response to unexpected incidents and emergency situations. Experience as a control room/security person in a multi-functional building would be an advantage. As someone who is flexible and with a positive attitude, you will also be willing to assist with other facilities and property related tasks as required.
The Centre for Life is a 7-day week business, and the role will involve working day, night or weekend shifts as required. Flexibility is therefore essential.
