Key Requirements
* Must be able to work rotating shift schedules
* Must be able to commute to Bolton
This role involves loading new orders and changes into ERP software, acting as a liaison between Engineering, Materials, and Assembly, and coordination of functions such as BOM pre-load, changes, and BOM audits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading Bills of Materials to projects and thorough audits
* Loading BOMs for projects using configuration matrices, including manual or automated processes
* Action Project Engineering Change Notices for standard configuration without Engineering supervision
* Regular audits of projects BOMs for Bolton and Shanghai
* Provide summary of suggested configuration specials to engineering
* Action Engineering Change Requests on projects including PDO, CCR, and APR
* Verifying and interpreting Project Checklist
* Understanding and verifying Project Checklist for inaccuracies and omissions
* Coordination with Global Supply Chain and Production Control on a regular basis
* Contain Non-Conformances and investigate root cause
* Participate in or lead Continuous Improvement initiatives
Technical/Professional Skills:
* Excellent Writing and Verbal Communication
* Attention to Detail and ability to work independently
* Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new programs quickly
* Good understanding of the manufacturing process
Qualifications:
* Education: Post-Secondary education (Technical College Diploma) or 3 years of equivalent work experience
* 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
