ROLE - FINANCE ASSISTANT
LOCATION - LE1, Leicester
SALARY - Up to GBP28,000
Full Time / Permanent
Responsibilities include:
1. Producing quarterly VAT returns and reconciling to nominal ledger.
2. Performing periodic bank reconciliations.
3. Analysing and processing company credit cards and employee expenses.
4. Processing invoices, expenses, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
5. Handling the opening of trade credit accounts with suppliers.
6. Dealing with debt collection and keeping track of retentions, valuations, and payment certificates.
7. Arranging travel and accommodation for engineers and other employees.
8. Updating and maintaining records and databases accurately.
9. Answering and directing incoming calls and emails professionally.
Proficiency in Sage accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
