An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acute Stroke team as a Band 7 Physiotherapist.
You will take the lead in physiotherapy service delivery across the In-Patient Stroke Service with FVRH in Larbert and the stroke rehabilitation beds at the Bellfield Community Hospital in Stirling.
We would welcome applications from physiotherapists who have significant experience with stroke or a neurological setting with a drive to provide high quality neuro rehabilitation to patients during their initial acute and rehabilitation journey.
This post is key in leading the physiotherapy professional development within the team including stroke pathways development, implementation of national clinical guidelines and continuing to develop and support stroke improvement work across the wider MDT.
We have a number of improvement projects in development so if you are looking for an opportunity to use and develop your QI and leadership skills this would be a fabulous role for you. We would be delighted to support you.
It is important to us that you are motivated to improve stroke services with a system wide, collaborative approach, including working closely with our START community based stroke service as we know how beneficial this joined up working is to people who have had a stroke and their families.
The service is undergoing a review of AHP leadership and we would welcome candidates who are excited about developing their leadership skills in supporting themselves and others through the uncertainty that always comes alongside the positive aspects of change.
The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered as a physiotherapist and will be mobile across Forth Valley.
The post carries an on-call commitment.
NHS Forth Valley is also embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.
