The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for executing high-quality learning and development events in the assigned region. This role ensures robust pre-, during, and post-event support to meet learning objectives, while maintaining strong relationships with regional stakeholders, including workforce and venue partners.
What will you be doing?
* Execute learning and development events within the assigned region, ensuring robust pre, during and post-support to help the learning intention and experience.
* Maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders, including workforce and venue partners, through thorough communication.
* Support the regional learning events to be delivered consistently and to a high standard, aligning with national guidelines.
* Manage data tracking performance of regional learning events, connecting to learning evaluation and efficiencies of process.
* Escalate risk associated with specifically linked to venue, workforce or event delivery to ensure we maintain high standards. Appropriately overcoming low-level risk.
* Appropriately maintain boundaries of learning support with internal and external stakeholders.
* Effectively work across the learning delivery team to generate and maintain efficiency and effectiveness, sharing good practices and influence processes.
* Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.
* As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
* Learning event planning and delivery, including venue coordination and workforce scheduling.
* Demonstrated experience in supporting learning delivery across multiple formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid) and diverse disciplines, adapting to different learning needs and logistical challenges.
* Track record in event management, including the coordination of logistics, venues, and resources to ensure smooth and impactful learning delivery.
* Demonstrated experience in collaborating across multiple stakeholders, internal and external.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and logistical planning.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of learning events and logistics across the region.
Beneficial to have:
* Familiarity with adult learning theories and design principles, particularly as they relate to organising and delivering learning events.
* Experience in using learning management systems (LMS) or other digital tools to track program delivery and participant progress.
* Experience with risk management in event planning.
* Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.
