As a Technical Sales Engineer at Honeywell, in the NorthWest and Midlands region, you will work closely with the field service team and customers to understand their needs, share knowledge about Honeywell solutions to improve efficiency, and focus on complex reactive quotations, ensuring technically compliant proposals are provided. This role involves travel to customer sites and Honeywell offices within the region.

Key responsibilities
1. Conduct customer site surveys, support customers, verify information, prepare estimates, follow up with customers, and proactively seek sales opportunities.
2. Apply technical knowledge of Fire systems throughout all project stages to meet customer needs and ensure compliance.
3. Assist Field Service Professionals and Supervisors with proposal generation for medium to high complexity opportunities and support engineering teams in the field to ensure project completion.
4. Send proposals to customers, follow up for feedback and approval, and maintain contact throughout the project cycle, including post-completion financials and invoicing.
5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve customer experience, achieve revenue and margin targets, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Required skills and qualifications
1. Experience in the building technologies industry related to Fire systems maintenance, installation, and commissioning.
2. Technical understanding of Fire Systems, preferably Honeywell products.
3. Experience in generating technical quotes and proposals to secure business.
4. Excellent communication skills at all levels, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
5. Commercial awareness, with experience in a financially motivated environment.
