Job Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineering Consultant in RINA’s Asset and Product Consulting (APC) Business Line, you will lead and deliver consultancy projects for electrical plant assets, including transformers, switchgear, and rotating machines. You'll work with industry experts, develop cutting-edge solutions, and support the growth of our technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Consultancy Leadership:
o Lead and deliver engineering consultancy projects, ensuring high-quality results within time and budget.
o Collaborate with project team members and mentor less experienced consultants to enhance their technical and consulting skills.
o Support the development of RINA’s Asset Integrity-related services.
• Business Development:
o Partner with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
o Contribute to consultancy proposals, including client liaison, technical approach, and pricing.
• Industry Engagement:
o Present at seminars and conferences to maintain RINA’s leadership in industry developments.
o Develop strong relationships with stakeholders in the petrochemical and renewable energy sectors.
• Technical Expertise:
o Apply your expertise in asset design/assurance, condition assessment, and failure investigation.
o Deliver safe and professional use of lab equipment.
Competencies
• Extensive experience with transformers, switchgear, and electrical rotating machines.
• Proven project delivery skills, ensuring quality, time, and budget adherence.
• Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
• Excellent technical report writing skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site worldwide (10-25% travel time).
