As a Stock Assistant, you will assist with stock processes for the business and support the wider Sales team. You will assist with and monitor in-going and out-going stock, plan deliveries and seasonal changes to the stockroom, as well as perform stock takes and investigate discrepancies. You will communicate and escalate any stock issues or concerns to the management team.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
* Deliver the best service to the sales team to ensure perfect client service.
* Ensure goods are received accurately and inter-store transfers are processed correctly in a timely manner.
* Manage faulty/returned stock within the concession/boutique and escalate issues as necessary.
* Enter inputs and outputs in the stock control software Y2, ensuring ongoing optimization of stock and availability of goods.
* Organize storage space for optimal accessibility to products.
* Carry out weekly consolidations and end-of-season stock clearance in collaboration with the Regional Stock Coordinator.
* Support Stock Controller by monitoring stock levels and informing key personnel if reordering is necessary to avoid stockouts.
* Manage replenishment of goods and marketing tools alongside the Stock Manager and cash team.
* Propose relevant ideas for stock optimization to avoid overstocking and stockouts.
* Support the Stock Controller and/or Concession/Boutique Manager during emergencies (delays in deliveries, breakage, saturation, transfers).
* Prepare and conduct precise fiscal and rotating inventories.
* Assist with all receiving/shipping and inventory-related paperwork.
* Open the boutique/concession with security according to needs and delivery schedules.
* Work closely with the business on the company calendar to plan for external events and seasonal changes.
Your stock control remit includes online retail, with the following responsibilities:
* Manage and perform a weekly cycle count for stock within the online loan location, ensuring accurate stock levels and maintaining returns within the allocated time.
* Support the retail team with training and operational awareness for the online business, including processing of stock through Y2 and photo studio loans.
* Build strong professional relationships with the host store to facilitate the online business and improve stock control.
* Ensure all stock sold online is physically checked and quality controlled before leaving the department.
* Motivate staff to achieve high standards in the stockroom and promote best practices.
* Perform multiple tasks effectively to cover both online and current duties.
* Manage and review online returns, ensuring all stock is in sellable condition before processing back into Y2.

* Support the sales team in achieving key performance indicators to improve boutique/concession results and meet individual and store targets.
* Take initiative and respect processes to achieve theft and shrinkage targets.
* Demonstrate awareness of overall business performance and the surrounding market/industry.

Skills and Requirements:
* Proven experience in a retail company; experience in luxury or service environments is a plus.
* Experience in stock handling.
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
* Knowledge of logistic software or adaptability to new systems/processes.
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy merchandise.
* Strong organizational skills with a service orientation.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Motivated with a positive attitude.
* Able to meet demands of a busy boutique/concession with high energy levels.
* Proactive and willing to learn and develop.
* Comfortable with change and adaptable to business needs.
