Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 2 – Bizzybeez Childcare
Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a passionate, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Bizzybeez Childcare as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice to work in their baby room.
At Bizzybeez, our mission is to provide a safe, homely, fun, and caring environment for children to enjoy developmentally appropriate play experiences. We focus on development and aim to be a holistic child-focused early learning environment that helps children to develop socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively under the care of highly trained professionals in a child-friendly environment.
We provide child care that is flexible to the needs of busy working families and is catered to the child's needs as decided by parents, as they know their child best. We create play-based learning environments that allow children to learn through discovery and experimentation.
We provide an environment where children can develop life skills that will set them up for a life of success. We encourage imaginative play in a resource-rich environment so children develop the social skills for the next part of their lives.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting with the daily running of the baby room.
2. Assisting with all aspects of personal care, including bottle feeding, nappy changing, and sleep time.
3. Following the children’s home-from-home routines, providing daily care of the children, and liaising with parents.
4. Having key children and completing and updating the next steps for the children.
5. Setting up daily activities.
6. Following children's interests closely and tidying away at the end of each day.
7. Being a confident candidate who is able to use own initiative, work as part of a team, and be fit and active for the needs of the role.
Requirements:
1. You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
2. GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
Hours:
1. Bizzybeez Childcare is open between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00 Monday – Friday.
2. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed.
