Job Description
Main responsibilities of the role:
* Assist with the monthly payroll process.
* Prepare annual P11D statements for submission.
* Prepare and post accruals and prepayments to SAP.
* Reconcile and post weekly bank statements to SAP.
* Prepare weekly cash flow statements based on bank reconciliations.
* Review VAT on invoices for accuracy.
* Authorise and perform financial checks on purchase ledger invoices.
* Support financial year-end activities and collaborate with external auditors.
* Complete ad-hoc finance-related tasks.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would ideally have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Started working towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, ACA or CIMA
* Proficiency in financial software such as SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Good analytical skills with an attention to detail.
* Strong Excel skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
