At Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired Job Description Our friendly team in Bardon have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join their team on a full time permanent basis As a Shift Supervisor you will support the Shift Manager in the management in order to motivate the team, ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety are monitored, all Company policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to and that all product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in line with or exceeding KPIs Salary: £30,000-£31,000 per annum. Working hours: Monday-Friday, 10pm-6am. Key Duties of a Warehouse Shift Supervisor: Manage and motivate the shift team ensuring that productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded. To monitor and promote good working practices conforming to all Health and Safety law and IPS SOPs. Manage Goods Inwards area to ensure that receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods so that stock is available to satisfy production and orders. Manage outbound picking and loading to ensure load are ready on time for the collection. To ensure accuracy of systems on receipts and despatches. Ensuring that all Quality and compliance checks and controls are carried out and that the Operational team work to the Audit standard required. To be able to manage team and cover for Shift Managers in their absence. Deliver communication briefings so that all shift are aware of all Company and local issues and employees are able to offer input/improvements and feel involved. Develop all team members so that their contributions to the Warehouse can be maximised and succession plan delivered. Enforce and adhere all Company policies and procedures. Qualifications Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and WMS systems. Confident at dealing with people at all level. Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training/ working hours. Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated. Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
