Training & Compliance Coordinator – Frog Island, Rainham
Salary: £34,500 per annum
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
As Training & Compliance Coordinator you will manage and book all training which will include liaising with suppliers, Managers and employees. You will need to ensure all training records are maintained accurately and produce reports monthly. In this role, you will also log and respond to all complaints, compliments and issues on site and ensure that they are fully investigated and actions taken.
Other key responsibilities for the Training & Compliance Coordinator:
* To report and Health, Safety, Environmental issues to the Management Team, and where appropriate, to internal support services staff
* To conduct internal site inspections and to ensure documents are compliant for the purpose of audits with support from the Compliance Administrator
* Ensuring all reports from technical advisors are updated and reviewed annually in line with company SHEQ policy and ISOs standards
* Creating document templates, checklist, forms for business needs in line with ISO guidelines including referencing
* Managing LMS system for ELWA sites liaising with central Learning and Development Teams
* Occupational health – arranging ELWA staff health checks for 6 monthly and annual, liaising with SHEQ and Human resources for referrals
* To provide reception cover in the absence of the Business Support Administrator roles (covering Reception at either Jenkins Lane or Frog Island), setting up boardrooms, dealing with staff/public enquiries, ordering stationary/consumables and PPE in the absence of receptionist
* Note taking for confidential meetings and internal meetings
* Internal/external audits – prepare documents for auditors, follow up actions with management and communicate closed actions to third party auditors. Managing the in-house Action Tracker to review and close out open audit actions including chairing Action Tracker meetings
* To familiarise and support other departments by having back of house systems such as assure, guardian portal, Sypol COSHH system
* Supporting Communications programme – internal social media, representing the contract with post, articles and polls. Ensure performance of read, likes and comments increase
* To ensure Competency Assessment are reviewed and updated as required in line with ISO standards/Company SHEQ Policy
Requirements
Essential Criteria for this role:
* At least 2 years’ experience of working in an admin role previously.
* Understanding of ISO standards and what they mean to a business.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Demands high standards of themselves and others and can translate this into high quality, high pace output.
* Ability to work independently.
* In depth understanding of quality, health, safety and environmental compliance.
* Computer literate to a high standard with all MS Office packages.
* Car driver (essential due to location and travel between sites and for the purposes of audits)
