The purpose of the vehicle recovery team is to attend and repair vehicle breakdowns on the road, and any other duties that deem suitable by the engineering manager. The vehicle recovery assistant will assist a senior member of staff at all times., Attend and repair breakdowns
-Booking out parts when required
-Working within health and safety regulations
-Deliver a high standard of repair/temp repair to get bus back to depot
-Ensure an effective working relationship with staff
-Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork upto date and filled in correctly
-Carry out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday back shift 14:00 until 22:00

To be familiar with the modern repair techniques and the use of diagnostic equipment.
-Driving licence is essential, PSV license would be advantageous, if not the ability to obtain must be shown
