The Regional Account Manager Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible for the development of Regional and some Key Accounts across the North of England, Midlands and North Wales.
This role is approximately 80% Account Management/Development and 20% dedicated to developing new business, in line with the business’s goals and objectives.
The Key Requirements of The Role Are:
* Develop & Manage Regional & Key Accounts
* Target new business opportunities
* Deliver on budgets and targets
* Set target plans by brand for territories
The Regional Account Manager Candidate:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who enjoys sales within a target driven environment. They will be hands-on and be able and willing to deliver results.
Trans-Continental Group imports and distributes products to customers across various sectors including; Garden Centre's, National Accounts, Online, Wholesale and Independent retail.
Previous experience of selling into these sectors is desirable but not essential.
The qualities we are looking for:
* Ideally at least 2 years of field sales or Garden Centre experience, however not essential
* Experience of selling B2B desirable but not essential
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Relationship builder able to communicate at all levels
* Strong listening skills and creative thinker
* Able to adapt to an everchanging sector
