Role Overview:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students across various year groups. You will help develop students' language, literature, and communication skills while fostering a love for learning. This role requires a strong understanding of the English curriculum, the ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
* Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Inspire and motivate students to reach their academic potential.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching staff to ensure consistency and progression.
Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
* Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
