An opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join an established business on a shift pattern of 2 weeks on mornings (6am to 1.30pm) and then one week on afters (Midday to 7.30pm). The client has been in business for over 150 years and is an approved business in Precision Engineering. Many of their workforce have been with them for over 50 years, enjoying a vibrant working environment.
They have also recently spent £6m on their facility, modernising their manufacturing facilities.
Our client has worked for a number of international customers from Europe, the US, and the Far East, supplying a vast range of products to the highest quality covering aerospace, rail, energy, defence, oil, and gas markets.
DUTIES for the role of Maintenance Electrician:
* Maintain and install a variety of electrical equipment – PLCs, Induction Furnace Controls, Welding Sets, Shot Blasts, Overhead Cranes.
* Reactive and planned preventative maintenance on production equipment ensuring all work complies with International Standards.
* Daily fault finding on machinery and equipment to ensure downtime is reduced.
* Installation and testing of new equipment.

* Apprentice Trained – City and Guilds / NVQs.
* Electrical Maintenance Engineers.
* Maintenance Electricians.
* Heavy Industry experience – Steel, Aerospace, Oil, and Gas.
* Maintenance history with Overhead Cranes, Induction Furnaces, and Shotblasts.
THE OFFER for the role of Maintenance Electrician:
* Salary between £35,000 – £40,000 per annum.
* Mornings/Afters shift pattern.
