What the Job Involves Provide reliable, high-quality administrative and support services to the Children and Young People’s Service. Contribute to developing the Business Support Team ‘service offer’ by participating in task-finish working groups. Maintain, update, and quality assure various IT systems and records to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and quality. Provide bespoke analysis reports from complex datasets. Deliver high-level specialist minute-taking support for allocated meetings, ensuring legal and internal compliance. Act as the nominated ‘subject matter expert’ for at least two corporate functions such as HR, Finance, IT, or Complaints. Manage workload amidst competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple teams and projects. Provide high-quality self-directed administrative support, proactively improving team standards and consistency. Deliver consistent, efficient, and effective support services within agreed timescales. Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery. Support process improvements by implementing learnings from LEAN Reviews. Support budget management and forecasting, including producing finance reports and supporting year-end closure. Support projects and initiatives within the Service Area and Business Support Team, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Be accountable for various processes including recruitment, FOI, establishment control, and procurement. Supports Service Managers with diary, email, and meeting management, along with document production. This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 2 days in the office (Town Hall - Romford).
