Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chemical processes, ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of chemical operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Duties
1. Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions.
3. Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and quality control measures.
4. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions effectively.
6. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new processes and safety protocols.
7. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in a chemical processing environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols and procedures.
3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
4. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
7. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes.

Pay: £80.00-£120.00 per day
