Scope of Services
We require the services of an Electrical Engineering Consultant (Outside of IR35) to provide independent contract services to support the multi-discipline delivery of major energy development studies (typically at conceptual / pre-FEED project stages).
The scope of services requires broad Electrical engineering experience and knowledge encompassing electrical power generation, transmission, distribution and utilisation, and shall include:
* Preparation of electrical engineering deliverables
* Providing key Electrical engineering input into multi-discipline study scopes
* Preparing the cost estimating basis for Electrical engineering activities
* Preparing engineering reports and presentations
* Leading meetings relevant to assigned electrical engineering work scope
* Contributing to proposals
Requirements
The service provider is required to be / have:
* Chartered Engineer (or equivalent)
* Degree Qualified in relevant engineering subject
* Extensive relevant previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer
* Previous experience working in Concept Engineering (Front End / FEED)
* Working knowledge and experience of power generation (Conventional and renewable), transmission, distribution, energy storage and power conditioning systems
* Able to drive / support electrical scope decision processes
* Experience of new energies / energy transition project development is an advantage
