As Payroll and Pensions Manager, you will lead a small team to oversee payroll operations across St Monica Trust and its subsidiaries, ensuring every employee is paid correctly and on time. From handling complex pay queries to implementing process improvements, your work will underpin our commitment to fairness, integrity, and excellence.
What you'll be doing
* Managing payroll operations across the Trust, ensuring compliance with tax, employment, and pension legislation.
* Overseeing pension administration, including auto-enrolment and regulatory compliance.
* Taking a proactive role in managing the Workday payroll system, identifying and implementing process improvements.
* Providing expert guidance on payroll matters, from statutory payments to contractual benefits.
* Leading and developing the payroll team, fostering a culture of accuracy and service excellence.

What you'll bring
* A CIPP qualification or equivalent Payroll Diploma (NVQ L3).
* Experience managing a payroll function in a complex organisation.
* Strong knowledge of UKK payroll regulations, tax laws, and pensions legislation.
* Experience using payroll systems (Workday desirable) and confidence in data analysis.
* Leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
