Summary
Buckshaw Primary School is an average sized primary school situated in Astley Village, Chorley. Inclusion is at the heart of our school and our primary aim is to ensure each child is safe and happy, enabling them to learn and grow successfully. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will support children with additional needs. The successful candidate will support individuals and small groups across the curriculum, working closely with the class teacher.
They must be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a good standard of English and Maths. In return, the successful candidate will be offered a package of induction and support as well as excellent CPD opportunities. Essential Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant to the post
Desirable Qualifications:
* First aid
Essential Experience:
* Supporting children with SEN
* Working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting
Desirable Experience:
* Supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD
* Supporting children with social and emotional difficulties
