English Teacher
Location: Wakefield
Pay Scale: £140 to £190 per Day

The Role:
GSL Education's South Yorkshire branch is actively seeking a committed and proficient English Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School in Wakefield. As an integral member of the team, the teacher will provide excellent education in English and create a supportive environment for learning. The role will be pivotal in guiding students towards realizing their full potential in this subject.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and effective English lessons in line with the British education curriculum.
2. Plan and prepare English lessons according to the British education curriculum.
3. Assess, track, and report on students' progress.
4. Adapt teaching approach to accommodate diverse classroom settings and cater to varying student needs.
5. Foster and sustain a positive, inclusive learning environment contributing to student growth and development.
6. Implement school policies and procedures proficiently to maintain consistency.
7. Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication.
Requirements:
1. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Proven track record of delivering excellent teaching experience in a similar role with secondary school children or within an educational setting.
3. Solid knowledge of the UK English curriculum and assessment frameworks.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with efficient classroom management skills.
5. Currently residing in the UK.
6. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
7. Passion for education and student support.
