Creating something unique isn't just rewarding, it's exciting. As an Electrical Design Engineer, that's exactly what you'll be doing, designing electrical systems for bespoke automation projects that make a real difference in industries like logistics, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and automotive.
You'll be joining a team that takes ideas from concept to completion, crafting custom solutions that integrate robotics, conveyors, vision systems, end of line machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC control systems.
No cookie-cutter designs here, this is engineering at its most innovative.
What you'll be doing
* Designing detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and diagrams using EPLAN (preferred). Applicants with electrical design experience using AutoCAD/Solidworks Electrical may also be considered.
* Selecting components, motors, drives, controls, actuators, and more, that make your designs come to life.
* Supporting the assembly, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure your designs perform as expected.
* Keeping designs compliant with industry standards and well-documented for future reference.
What you'll bring to the table
* A qualification in electrical engineering (HNC/HND/Degree/Apprenticeship).

* Confidence with design tools like EPLAN.
* The ability to work independently or collaboratively, with a knack for problem-solving.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
* Experience in assembly, testing, and commissioning is a bonus but not essential.
