Working Hours: 8:30am - 17:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 plus MJ Quinn vehicle
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Infield Civils Assessor to join the business. This position will be field-based covering the Midlands region.

Your role will include:
* Conducting generic and project-specific health and safety inductions.
* Ensuring engineers are compliant with both internal and client matrices by providing renewal of expiring/expired accreditation.
* Conducting tailored work stream training for engineers and subcontractors in the field working on various contracts.
* Providing training and guidance on environmental awareness, safety procedures, and the necessary policies.
* Delivering training across the safety and craft module portfolio.
* Ensuring that safety and craft training is delivered in line with MJ Quinn, awarding body, and client standards.
* Ensuring that engineers present themselves in line with MJ Quinn standards and seek support and guidance where required.
* Gaining accreditation to deliver additional craft modules in line with the academy’s development plan.
* Supporting colleagues’ development by providing help and guidance for additional assessor qualifications, in line with the academy’s development plan.
* Providing tablet/device training where required.
* Creating great relationships with all candidates and supporting them through their training.
* Supporting other patches as needed in line with business needs.
* Keeping accurate attendance logs for the courses and feeding back to the relevant departments for pay purposes.
* Keeping accurate records of test and practical assessment results and sending them to the relevant departments.
* Facilitating the completion of any documentation required by different departments across the business.
* Raising any on-the-day issues to the relevant departments within the business.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
* Teaching/Coaching qualification or equivalent (Level 3).
* Experience in coaching/teaching in a relevant field (construction).
* Experience carrying out Civils and cabling works on underground Telecommunication networks.
* Experience in site works, methodology, and network build approach.
* Construction of under chambers (ground 1 - brick, concrete, modular) and the erection of communication street-side cabinets.
* Knowledge of the BT network.
* Experience in blockages, duct laying, core drilling, slewing.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role of assessing/teaching in the Civils industry.
* Teaching experience/qualifications are preferred as we will offer support/training.
