More About the Role
Reporting to the Retail Finance Manager and working alongside the retail store accounts team. The role is responsible for completing weekly and period-end accounting for a portfolio of company owned retail stores and various management reports for the operations team.
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
* Processing Weekly Accounting returns for a number of retail stores.
* Performing key accounting processes for retail stores such as cash reconciliations, Paypoint reconciliations and National Lottery reconciliations.
* Performing period-end checks and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assisting with the production of 4-weekly management accounts, including responsibility for the Graham Eyes management accounts.
* Assisting with weekly management reporting to the board and operations team.
* Adhoc duties as and when required.

* Previous experience in Finance is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

* Looking towards studying for an accounting qualification.
