Experienced UX Researcher required for a growing design team who are passionate about designing complex products that solve real user problems intuitively. The UX Researcher’s objective is to understand users' needs, goals, and behaviours then represent them throughout the design process creating intuitive and easy-to-use interfaces.
User Experience Research is conducted as part of the company UX team who also integrate with UI designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders. Your focus will be educating colleagues on research, planning, conducting, and analysing information to gain insights on users that guide the design process.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct UX research for complicated Desktop Applications.
2. Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including conducting interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, ethnographic research, and data analysis.
3. Empathize with users and advocate for their needs, perspectives, and desires.
4. Apply user-centered design principles and practices.
5. Collaborate with the UX team and other stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or related field.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing research projects, methodologies, and impact of your work.
