We are currently recruiting for a dedicated School Receptionist to join a supportive secondary school in the Darlaston area. This is a full-time, long-term role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position requires experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) and strong organizational skills. Job Role Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students in a professional and welcoming manner. Manage the front desk, answer telephone calls, and handle inquiries efficiently. Utilize SIMS to maintain accurate student records and support administrative processes. Complete general administrative tasks, including emails, post, and filing. Support the wider school staff with daily operations and provide assistance as required. Required Skills and Experience Previous experience as a School Receptionist or in a similar administrative role. Proficiency with SIMS is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. A friendly, professional manor with the ability to multitask. Awareness of safeguarding and GDPR practices (training can be provided).
