The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing personalized strategies, building trusting relationships, and assisting students in managing their behaviour in a safe and positive way. This role requires a mix of patience, empathy, and resilience, with a proactive approach to behaviour support and de-escalation techniques. Key Responsibilities: Work directly with students to support their emotional, social, and academic development. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes. Build strong, supportive relationships with students, fostering a trusting and respectful environment. Assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and structured setting. Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support. Maintain accurate records and contribute to student progress reports. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young adults displaying complex behaviours, ideally within an educational or support setting. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships. Resilience, patience, and a solution-focused mindset. A relevant qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field is advantageous.
