Energy Management Solutions Division - National Account Manager: To support both EMS’s strategic agenda our customers’ Net Zero journey, we are building out our National Accounts infrastructure to develop a total understanding of our customers’ businesses that results in deep customer intimacy that yields industry-leading retention and growth across all sectors. The role will be national with coverage across the UK - Travel is to be expected and occasional travel as and when is needed to the Head office in Manchester as required (our ideal location would be Midlands based). Main Responsibilities - National Account Manager Retention of National Account customers, through skilful relationship management and growth of service provision to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue and profit for the full financial year. To lead and manage activities to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions and excellent service to the customer. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the budgeting process. Manage multi-site customer relationships with complex operational infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery and maximising value. Strategically align EMS’s business to deliver strategic business Account Plans, contractual and customer requirements as appropriate to enable futureproofing. Identify and implement efficiency improving initiatives that create and deliver value, reduce costs and optimise customer satisfaction. Act as the company figurehead for all National Account customers, conducting face-to-face meetings and maintaining high levels of engagement. To be commercially focused in terms of analysing and forecasting the success of existing and additional business proposals for National Account customers. Understand and apply commercial and financial principles with regards to costs, profits, markets and added value. Organise and attend site surveys, develop quotations, proposals, and pricing strategies as required. Conduct monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual performance or strategic reviews. Deliver compelling presentations and sales narratives to key stakeholders, including senior management and project teams. Oversee technical and complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth execution and that performance indicators of on time, within budget, and risk management are achieved. Define and develop joint strategies to underpin the customer’s CSR objectives.
