The post holder will be accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be responsible for leading on the development and implementation of Trust-wide professional and quality work programmes, ensuring that the Social Work contribution is recognised, rewarded and optimised.
This role will provide:
· Strategic leadership to develop the Social Work professions across the Trust’s services and will ensure the provision of a high quality Social Work service;
· Professional leadership to Lead Social Workers within the Trust and provide expert advice and guidance on all professional Social Work issues to the Trust as a whole.
If required, the post holder will act as Deputy for the Chief Nursing Officer on matters related to Social Work across a range of duties within the organisation as agreed and when required.
