Do you know how to get outstanding results from pupils?
The science department at Swanmore is a highly regarded and successful curriculum area. Their record of achievement is a result of a shared vision within the team to showcase the awe and wonder of science, engaging pupils of all abilities through creativity, exploration and investigation.
We are seeking to appoint a new leader to start in September 2025, who sees the subject of science as instrumental in driving the whole school forward. This is not a role for someone who sees the current high performance as a glass ceiling. Rather, the successful post-holder will have to be even more innovative and ambitious in their leadership to deliver success.
We want to see energy, innovation and inspiration from a middle leader who wants to join our team. Everything and anything is possible with meaningful collaboration and a strong shared vision, and this successful team will be looking for a champion of science to lead them to the next level. A strong, professional voice who is also knowledgeable, intuitive and passionate about the subject, and the opportunities it provides for pupils at Swanmore, is essential.
