Working as part of the Connect 44 Group Assurance Function to Support Wider Compliance Activities across the Connect 44 Group.
The Environment Health and Saftey Manager will be responsible for:
1. Responsible for supporting pre-sales activities associated to EHS management, e.g. RFI/RFPs.
2. Uplift and maintain the existing EHS management systems suitable to compliantly support telecommunications field engineering activities, e.g. mobile rollout, site maintenance.
3. Ensure ongoing retention of applicable accreditation standards e.g. SafeContractor, ISO, ISO .
4. In conjunction with UK operational teams, hands-on approach to ensuring EHS compliance across UK activities.
5. Put in place framework to monitor and report on EHS compliance.
6. Drive continual improvement across the EHS management systems.
7. On-site auditing required (potentially nationwide travel).
8. Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis for EHS-related events, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented and lessons are shared.
9. Identify, assess and mitigate EHS risks across operational projects and office environments.
10. Deliver or coordinate EHS training and awareness initiatives across the business required more than in iHasco, for the filed engineers.
11. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant EHS legislation and best practice, advising stakeholders accordingly.
12. Knowledge about EcoVadis and CDP additional knowledge would be great for the Group.
Required Education & Trainings:
13. NEBOSH Diploma Occupational Health and Safety Management
14. NEBOSH General certificate in Health & Safety
Required Experience:
15. A minimum of 8 years experience in various industries in the capacity of Health and Manager
16. Experience of managing ISO Management systems
17. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
