The successful candidate will support the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes, ensuring they meet the diverse learning needs of employees About The Role Identify training needs through consultations with managers, employee feedback, and people development process. Source and evaluate external training providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, industry-relevant training. Monitor compliance training requirements ensuring all relevant training is scheduled in a timely manner Maintain CPD records Organise the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, booking venues, and managing attendance. Develop tailored training materials, courses, and e-learning content to address skills gaps and support business growth. Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions, workshops, and toolbox talks Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, assessments, and improvements in workplace performance. Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, certifications, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Prepare and present reports on training performance, progress, and outcomes Ensure all training administration is handled efficiently and in line with company procedures. Required Criteria Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) to include English and Maths High level of IT proficiency to include Microsoft Package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook) Excellent communication skills, verbally and written High levels of attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Flexible and adaptable approach to work Motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative Experience in creating, delivering and evaluating face-to-face training and e-learning content Minimum 3 years experience in a learning and development or training role. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects Desired Criteria Previous experience in construction industry CIPD qualification or equivalent and professional membership.
