We are looking for an experienced Key stage one teacher to teach a class of Year 1 pupils starting asap in the Burnley area.
The successful candidate must hold QTS (teaching degree or equivalent.) For long:term roles the rate of pay will be discussed at the interview stage. Please be aware that an interview or observation with the school may be required as part of the application process. We look forward to hearing if you are qualified and fit the criteria below.
Key responsibilities:
* Planning work as appropriate guided by the school (if in a longer:term position)
* Deliver day:to:day planning to deliver high:quality effective lessons.
* Upholding the schools ethos and values.
* Familiarise yourself with behaviour management systems and policies, ensuring these are implemented.
* Marking work that is completed during the day.
* Maintaining up:to:date records of students progress and attainment.
Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications (QTS, PGCE etc x2026;)
* Thorough knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculums.
* Recent and relevant experience.
* Two references from the last five years (one must be a full child:based safeguarding reference.)
Desired:
