Role Overview:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in the SEND team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with special educational needs. You will collaborate with a dynamic team under the leadership of an innovative head teacher to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one and small group assistance to children with a variety of needs, including autism and emotional difficulties, fostering their academic and personal growth.
* Collaborative Planning: Work closely with class teachers and the SEND team to develop tailored educational plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Differentiated Instruction: Implement creative teaching strategies and resources to address diverse learning styles, ensuring all students can achieve their potential.
* Behavioral Support: Employ effective behavior management techniques to create a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
* Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Track and analyze student progress, preparing detailed reports to inform instructional adjustments and celebrate achievements.
* Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development and foster a strong community.
